Finley’s Story

The Journey

The journey started back in march 2020

Boris announced we must stay at home

Feeling scared and confused like never before

I turned to my mum as she walked through the door

The journey of home schooling had just begun

We thought we would be happy but it was no fun

We missed school and all our friends

We could not wait for this nightmare to end

The journey went on and summer begun

Waiting for announcements but none had come

Death rates rising still so high

Missing family, we all could cry

The journey was ending death rates where low

Boris announced normality was back

Schools could open we were all back

All on a high we had our life back
