Looking to the Future

Vivienne’s Story

I have been fed up like everyone else but I remind myself I AM FROM PRESCOT and we’re made of strong stuff!

I am amazed at how everyone has overcome the problems during this pandemic and worked out how to keep their businesses going.  Full credit to them.  Clapping for carers was very emotional every week.  I have tried to keep in touch with friends and family and have regularly phoned people who are fed up and depressed and tried to keep them going.
I have been fed up like everyone else but I remind myself I AM FROM PRESCOT and we’re made of strong stuff!

I am longing for the day I will meet my new grandson who was born in December in Australia.  They were due to visit us in July and it was as heartbreaking that they had to cancel.  I feel I have missed out on his babyhood.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone again once this vaccine is proving effective.  In the meantime I will stick to the rules and pray for better days.  There is light at the end of this very long tunnel.
