Looking Back

Message From a Community Curator

At the start of Lockdown, I had just begun to work on an embroidered panel for a display in the theatre. Materials for the panel were provided by the Community Creators project. I realised I would not have sufficient thread to complete the panel. I contacted Vicky, who called by my home to drop off more thread and I was able to continue my embroidery. I very much appreciate the Zoom sessions, as I was able to see how other Community Curators were progressing with their panels, and see updates on the progress of the building of the Theatre. I have also volunteered to transcribe 16th century documents, a project introduced at a Zoom meeting and the documents forwarded electronically by Vicky. I have been able to continue working on projects at home, which I find very rewarding, with the support given to me on-line by the Team Leaders.
