Looking Back

Green Fingers

We were given seedlings from Incredible Edible Knowsley, we had tomatoes, cucumber, sweet pea and fennel plants dropped off. Sebastian who is aged 8, has really enjoyed planting them and watching them grow.  He can’t wait to eat something that is home grown!  We have both benefitted from the seedlings as they have given us something to do together and we like inspecting the plants and talking about how they are progressing.  It gives us the chance to enjoy the fresh air together and learning about food.  We have found gardening to be a peaceful activity and gets us away from screens!

Have a story to share?

Everyone has something to say about their experiences of the pandemic and the sort of world they want to live in when it’s over. Help build Knowsley’s story of Covid and the future. No matter how big or small you think it is, we want to hear from you!

Don’t worry about spelling or grammar- your story can be in any form: a poem, drawing, video, audio clip, or narrative. We want to hear from you in your own words.
